How Does The Course Work?
We offer a number of specially designed skills based courses: our 3 month level one and level two courses are an ideal way to learn a mix of practical savoury and baking cookery skills and can be combined to form a really comprehensive 6 month cookery course. For students wishing to specialise their skills or follow a 12 month course, levels 3 and 4 take your skills to a really high level. Just want to bake or only cook savoury dishes? That is fine - we offer savoury and baking only options. In every course, each week covers a classic skill, which students then put into practice through a choice of recipes, each with a real time pre-recorded cookalong to follow. We have built as much flexibility as possible into the courses with the aim that every student will have a totally unique experience but will have all mastered all of the classic skills by the end of the course. Courses can be combined to create 3, 6 and 12 month programmes suitable for Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. Download our DofE information pack to see a full list of skills and recipe tutorials or get in touch and we will happily answer your questions and help design the perfect course for you.
